Come join us once again on our Front Porch, for a very special evening with Newton Vineyards and our chef, Jim Perko. We will be sampling 7 wines from Newton Vineyards that will be paired off with a 5 course dinner prepared by Chef Jim Perko. The reception wine and appetizers will start at 5:30 and the dinner itself will begin at 6pm. Tickets are very limited, so make sure to RSVP. Cost for the dinner will be $55.

Reception: Fresh asparagus, roasted carrots and cauliflower “Gold’ with a garlicky white bean puree that’s sure to please with the Newton Red Label Chardonnay

1. Calamari and wilted Swiss Chard with a Newton Chardonnay Thai Sauce.
Fresh, tender and perfectly wilted Swiss Chard is the ideal companion for the barely firm and slight chewiness of the thinly julienne calamari. The squid is slowly sautéed and finished with a Thai chili, garlic and Newton Chardonnay sauce, which results in intense flavor with undertones of spice and sweetness for an ultra-sensual pairing.

2. Roasted beet, tomato, avocado, and walnut salad with a prune, blueberry and fig vinaigrette.
The extra surface area created by thinly slicing beets allows the caramelizing of their natural sugars during roasting resulting in beet candy. Paired with a serious umami burst from oven roasted tomatoes, rich creaminess of avocado, crunchy walnuts and genuine aged 4 leaf balsamic with naturally occurring added fruit sugars pairs remarkably with Newton's Red Label Cabernet.

3. Red Lentil and Lacinato Kale ragout.
Sweet and earthy red lentils give a meat like quality to this vegetable hearty ragout. Lightly braised lacinato kale provides a stout and complex taste that helps weaves these extraordinary elements into a magnificent combination of flavors and textures. Paired with Newton’s unfiltered Cabernet creates a remarkable experience.

4. Vegetable Bourguignon with Newton Cabernet
Who says you need beef to make bourguignon. Umami rich shitake, portobello, crimini and porcini are caramelized along with root vegetables, braised in Newton's fabulous unfiltered cabernet and nested in whole grain brown jasmine rice for an amazing plant forward entrée that totally compliments Newton’s fabulous Puzzle red. For the diehard meat lovers, we can serve with a perfectly slow-roasted center cut tenderloin. (request with beef with your reservation)

5. French Valrhona Guanaja 70% Cocoa Dark Bittersweet Chocolate.
French Valrhona Guanaja 70% Cocoa Dark Bittersweet Chocolate bark, vegan chocolate mousse, vegan and gluten free chocolate cake and berries glazed in a Newton Merlot reduction is paired with Newton's Merlot for a real sweetheart combination you’ll fall in love with.
