That's How I Roll: The Wonderful World Of Dung Beetles says
Dr. Nicole Gunter, dung beetle expert and Invertebrate Zoology Collections Manager at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History presents, "That's How I Roll: The Wonderful World of Dung Beetles," on Friday, January 13 as part of the Museum's Explorer Series.

Represented by over 5,000 species from six continents, it’s a dung beetle’s world and we’re just living in it. Dung beetles’ remarkable diversity, cosmopolitan distribution and steadfast association with vertebrates through dung feeding make them a living lens to view the vast history of evolution. With insights from DNA, we will tunnel through the evidence to determine if dung feeding evolved with mammals or with dinosaurs, and what those findings say about the story of natural history.

5:30pm – Doors open. Pre-lecture reception with light appetizers, cash bar and live music. Exploration: A Zack Bruell Restaurant, exhibitions and galleries, and the Museum Store are open.

7pm – Presentation of Naturalist Certificates, followed by lecture.
