Marulić Days - Desnica: The Games of Spring and Death

Based on Vladan Desnica’s The Springs of Ivan Galeb, The Games of Spring and Death is Zadar’s VeRRdi Theatre’s one-man play about the unbearable heaviness of being. We watch as a man reflects on his existence (so that’s illness, mortality and loneliness) and narrates his sombre thoughts. Above all, this existential play is an homage to the neglected literary treasure that was Desnica.
