Power Up with a weekly boot camp workout with Carole Gist Stramler of Royal Physique Fitness! Attend 8 consecutive sessions and receive a complimentary museum membership, making your next 12 months FREE! For more information please email 30days@chwmuseum.org.

All activities take place on the lower level of the museum; please enter through the back (Farnsworth) entrance. For your comfort, please bring an exercise mat or large towel for your use to the workouts.

According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, four out of five African American women - the leading casualties of such ills as obesity, heart disease and diabetes - are overweight. In response, the 30 Days To Lose It! program, inspired by the hit TV show, “The Biggest Loser,” was launched in March, 2010. Whether you want to lose weight, get fit, or just stay in shape, come dressed to sweat (with an exercise mat or beach towel), bring a buddy or 3 and join this safe, fun fitness program for women endorsed by the Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness, Health and Sports!

30 Days to Lose It! is sponsored by Beaumont Health System and St. John Providence Health System. Before beginning any exercise program, an individual should first consult with a physician or other qualified healthcare provider.
