You might not know it yet, but the most rock-friendly venue in Windsor is The Walkerville Theatre. A full-scale sound and light show is in store for anyone attending the most bombastic rock explosion the building has ever seen.

And it's ALL AGES!

Ashes of Soma, local success story, headline the Saturday, March 28th bill, with the persistent energy of SieraSlave supporting the show alongside The Kerouacs (Niagara Falls).

"Ashes of Soma is poised to start a minor revolution. The magnetic riffs say it all - originality, earthy sex appeal and eclectic powerhouse. These rockers, with acoustic and hard rock influences, easily decimate mediocrity with their formidable musical stealth. Since its gestation, the inspiration behind this fiery offspring has performed in support of "Finger Eleven" and "Thornley."

"SieraSlave is a rock band that is inspired by both classic and modern rock. Their unique sound is best described as retro/modern rock. The band formed in July of 2014 and have been writing original music and playing gigs ever since. Their debut CD Release show was sold out two weeks in advance at Venue Music Hall in Windsor on December 14, 2014 and the band has been building a solid base of loyal, enthusiastic fans."

"The Kerouacs are a straight forward group of guys who play straight forward rock and roll. Ironically, in a music scene riddled with bands who strive desperately to establish their individuality, The Kerouacs forthright nature is precisely what sets them apart. As such, describing their sound is no difficult task. It’s gained up, it’s loud, it’s straight out of the basement, it’s impossible to avoid. However, despite clear garage, punk and classic rock influences, comparing them accurately to bands current or classic is a taller order. Hailing from the Niagara Region, the boys have cut their teeth on the road opening for such acts as The Sadies, The Balconies and Two Hours Traffic."

Tickets are $10 if you buy them in advance online, from Phog Lounge or at Dr. Disc. Otherwise, they'll be $15 at the door, the night of the show.
