The event creator says
Sooooo cool - On Belle Isle at this event you get to explore the Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory (flower building!) and the Belle Isle Aquarium (nation's oldest) and Dossin Great Lakes Museum (on the Detroit River) and you can walk between all three of them as you visit. The official web site for the event is at:

Free - totally free! Make sure you have your yearly pass to enter a state park ($10)-or there is a fee to enter the island.

Holiday music, free mulled cider and Dutch Girl Donuts at the Conservatory, while they last - and since there are already some 5,000 Detroiters who say they are going to this event - the cider and donuts "might" not last long!

There will also be hot cocoa and cookies, holiday music, and free winter crafts at the Dossin

Detroiters are some of the most generous people you'll ever meet and so at an event like this donations of new teddy bears for the Michigan State Police “Trooper Teddy” program will be collected at the Aquarium and Conservatory, and new toys for the "Toys for Tots" - program will be collected at the Dossin.

Get into the holiday spirit - Love the 'D - Live the 'D - and no better place to do it than on Belle Isle!
