Journalist and author Alison Weir will discuss findings from her new book, "Against Our Better Judgment: The hidden history of how the U.S. was used to create Israel," which documents the history of the Israel Lobby in the United States.
The talk takes place at the University of Michigan, Dearborn in Room 1071 (CASL Building) at 12:30 pm and is sponsored by D. Skrbina and LPA Department.
Weir will also discuss the root of the current violence in Israel-Palestine, distorted media coverage of the region, and why American taxpayers continue to send Israel nearly $10 million per day.
