Pro photographer instructors will lead a group of no more than 12 people to capture unique, compelling photos of amazing classic architecture.

Join this month's live Digital Photo Academy Photo Workshop in Detroit, led by a pro shooter with teaching experience. The maximum number of attendees is 12.

There have been proposals for Michigan Central Station's restoration, but it hasn’t gotten past the negotiation process. Even though the inside of the station is no longer accessible to the public, the building’s Beaux-arts façade is an excellent subject for architectural photography.

Beaux-arts is a neoclassical architectural style with heavy French influences. Its flat roof, arched windows, and ornate classical details make it the perfect place to practice your compositional photography skills.

Class size is small enough for quality interaction with the instructors, but large enough to be fun and stimulating.

Each month DPA hosts a workshop in Detroit at different locations, so stay tuned for future announcements that offer great photo ops, frequently arranging private access, as well as special Alumni Discounts for repeat attendance.
