Detroit Oktoberfest is co-sponcored by AXIOM Percussion. Axiom Percussion is Detroit company specializing in the hand making world-class, solid-wood snare drums and percussion instruments. AXIOM Percussion L3C will become a Low-profit Limited Liability Corporation in 2016 and will be a worker owned, start-up on Oakland Ave in Detroit's North End. The artisains, caftspersons and drummers at AXIOM Percussion have been working in colaberation, making studio and concert grade drums from reclaimed Detroit lumber and storm trees harvested in Detroit since 1996. Tweenty years in the making, AXIOM Percussion will now become another great Detroit export product.
