Last Thursday each month DISSONANT MELODIES Showcase Deep House artists. 12 / 29 / 2016 One of founding father of Techno Eddie Fowlkes will grace the Decks that will sing to thy ear's.

Eddie Fowlkes:
Growing up listening to Motown and Soul in Detroit, Eddie Fowlkes was born with the groove embedded in his DNA. The summer before entering high school, he attended a party at Park Avenue with his older sister and saw Darryl Shannon mixing records. It was a Sharevari party, and what Eddie saw changed his life forever. “I was fascinated by the mixing aspect of DJing and tried to figure out how he [Shannon] was creating the music,” Fowlkes recalled. He caught the DJ bug.

DISSONANT MELODIES Last Thursday at the beautiful The Whiskey Parlor Ft. Artists from all around, With a No Cover at the door.

The use of vocals became more common in deep house than in many other forms of house music. Sonic qualities include soulful vocals (if vocals are included), slow and concentrated DISSONANT MELODIES, and a smooth, stylish, and chic demeanor. The use of women's vocals is more common than male's in deep house tracks. Deep house music rarely reaches a climax but lingers on as a comfortable, relaxing sound.
