Hatch Art says
Join us at Hatch Art for a workshop where we'll make monotype prints with Alice V. Schneider.

No experience necessary! Working with ink may tend to get messy so be sure and wear "messy" clothes or bring an apron! It’s an easy and fun way to make prints, each one as different as the next! You may be able to make a few monotypes, depending on your pace. We will have a few different colors of ink to choose from and some paper available, please feel free to bring some of your own! I will provide cotton balls and q-tips for removing the ink, but some people have had fun results by using other materials... different materials provide different subtractive mark-making.

The workshop is open to adults, and children over the age of 10 and they must be accompanied by a supervising adult. The workshop will be easy enough for beginners, but more experienced artists will be able to make more elaborate monotypes from the basic materials.

Materials will be provided, however, we strongly suggest you bring some ideas and materials of your own… Please reach out to Alice beforehand if you have any questions!

$30 per adult; Adult with child $45; adult with two children $60; Please, no children unless they are accompanied by a parent and over the age of 10. Parent/adult must supervise their children.

Thursday, January 28nd, 6pm – 9pm
