Dr. Sushi says
In an joined effort to showcase some of the best sushi Detroit has to offer in a welcoming environment, Dr. Sushi, along with the help of friends and culinary collaborators Social Sushi, Geisha Girls, and Shinya Hirawaka (Shinya Loves Detroit/Noble Fish) are coming together at the Detroit City Distillery this Friday, February 24, from 6-10pm for a charity benefit raising funds for Alternative for Girls.

In an effort to actively take care of our communities and environment, the event will feature maki rolls and nigirizushi made by local sushi chefs specializing in pop up dinners and catering events. This time with exclusively sustainable aquaculture and produce.

Alternatives For Girls mission is to help homeless and high-risk girls and young women avoid violence, teen pregnancy and exploitation, and help them to explore and access the support, resources and opportunities necessary to be safe, to grow strong and to make positive choices in their lives. (Mission Statement, https://alternativesforgirls.org/)

The event is 21+ after 7pm. Everyone is welcome! No reservations required.
