We believe real change for Black People will start inside of the hoods! We must first recognize the issues that we face as a race and look for solutions within ourselves . Change will not be easy, it is going to take a lot of stepping up and accountability across the board BUT IT WILL COME! You don't have to be religious, you don't have to be politically correct, you don't have to change who you are as an individual, but what you will have to do is change the way you think. We must change the way we view ourselves. We must change the way we treat each other. We must Change our thoughts on community and most importantly we MUST change the way we spend our money!!!
We are truly a work in progress and New Era Detroit believe's wholeheartedly that when a majority of us end up on the same page, we won't have to tell another soul that #BlackLivesMatter because seeing is believing! IT STARTS WITH US!
