House & Garden Preview Party says
Celebrate Detroit’s ceramic arts at our biggest night of the year with hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and music by the Marcus Elliot Quartet at Pewabic Pottery’s 27th Annual House & Garden Show Preview Party.

This Annual Preview Party is a fundraiser to support Pewabic Pottery, a Detroit nonpofit dedicated to enriching the human spirit through clay. Early bird tickets are available through May 31 for $95 ($45 for associate members). Starting June 1 tickets go up to $110 ($55 for associate members). Last year’s event sold out, so get them while you can!

For Preview Party tickets, please call 313-626-2002 or visit Can’t make it that evening? Swing by that weekend when Pewabic will continue to celebrate with artist demonstrations, tours and a biergarten in our beautiful courtyard, all to support Pewabic’s nonprofit mission and educational programs dedicated to enriching the spirit through clay.

Be on hand for the release of our latest Postcards from Detroit tile: the Guardian Building, Detroit’s art deco “Cathedral of Finance” skyscraper that features Pewabic Aztec-like tile designs above its Griswold and Congress Street entrances. The Guardian Building tile joins Belle Isle and Eastern Market, as the third in this series that commemorates favorite Detroit destinations.

Fall in love with Pewabic’s new scarab paperweight and new and reintroduced Egyptian-inspired giftware and architectural tile designs. Each makes its introduction on Pewabic’s special night, along with new glazes and glaze options to mark the 150th birthday of Pewabic co-founder Mary Chase Perry Stratton. And be on hand to buy some of our top-selling 3x3 tiles in Revelation Blends palettes — Corktown, Iroquiois, and Woodward — for those house projects on a tight schedule.

And check out our new and exciting education initiative on wheels: Pewabic Street Team, a mobile museum that will deliver clay experiences and raku firings throughout the city. And enjoy the opening of our annual Maker/Mentor exhibit, showcasing the recent works of Pewabic teachers, students and staff.
