Linden Art Show Opening Night: Art Nouveau Meets Space Bunnies says
SocraTea presents “Odyssey” an exhibition of encaustic, acrylic, and oil paintings by Detroit artist Linden. The art will be on exhibit at Socra Tea May 18th- Aug TBD with a reception on May 18, 6pm-8pm

Linden’s collection of new and previous works explores themes of mythology, outer space, and human anatomy.
The reception on Thursday, May 18 will have refreshments in addition to the delightful offerings of SocraTea. Guests can meet the artist and discuss her work.
“We all have our odysseys--our periods of adventures and searching. Sometimes, we do so without leaving our living room,” artist Linden comments. “These paintings are my quest to consider the inner workings of humanity (in the case of my anatomical paintings,) our timeless drive (as illustrated in my mythological series), and space bunnies, which is my laughing way of illustrating our curiosity of the yet undiscovered.”
Linden illustrates translucent interpretations of the anatomical human, drawing parallels between our internal workings and the natural world. “My art is a meditation on the symbiotic relationship of all life: humans, animals, plants and how they intertwine and have cohesion.” Other paintings feature mythological creatures springing around the buildings of Detroit. Her series of space bunny paintings are self-explanatory.
