Love In Detroit 50 Year Reunion says
Love-In Detroit reunion is a anti hate, happy happening picnic that will take place on Belle Isle this Spring to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the original Love-In Detroit organized by Trans-Love Energies on Sunday April 30th in 1967.

"A Picnic for the People" to focus on expansion of awareness, healing, celebration, meditation, love and music.

Acoustic performers, artists, poets, etc. are welcome to gather and perform in this undiscriminating, non-judgmental atmosphere for an afternoon of celebration and consciousness. Just show up and jam!

Peace, harmony and mutual respect among all occupants at a beautiful state park in Detroit. Sound good?

This is a free, family friendly picnic that will take place in Shelter 8 (Bath Lunch Comfort Station) just across from the old police station.

All interested in participating are encouraged to correspond through this event page. More detailed information will be posted when available.

Volunteers welcome.
