This class is a vinyasa blend--you will learn the alignment of the poses and then be led through a few challenging sequences while learning strengthening poses and inversions.

This class is about moving energy through your body, so you will learn how to move your bodies energetically, you will sweat, and you will find yourself challenged both physically and in terms of greater awareness of the mindfulness that a consistent yoga practice offers.

This class is taught by Cindy Spires, cofounder of Detroit Community Yoga.

What to bring: your own yoga mat, a yoga towel, a water bottle. On especially beautiful days, we might do yoga outside, so plan accordingly for sun protection.

How much? $10 walk in. Free for Detroit Tough monthly members.
