Joshua Marie Wilkinson (b. 1977, Seattle) is the author of eight books of poetry, the editor of five anthologies, and the director of a documentary film about Califone. He lives in Tucson, where he teaches at the University of Arizona, edits a journal called The Volta, and runs a small press called Letter Machine Editions. Noah Eli Gordon (b. 1975, Cleveland) is a poet living and working in Colorado. Gordon's most recent book is The Word KINGDOM in the Word Kingdom, published by Brooklyn Arts Press in early 2015. Other recent titles include The Year of the Rooster (Ahsahta Press, 2013), The Source (Futurepoem, 2011), and Novel Pictorial Noise (Harper Perennial, 2007), which was selected by John Ashbery for the National Poetry Series and subsequently chosen for the San Francisco State Poetry Center Book Award. Mathias Svalina (b. 1975, Chicago) has won fellowships and awards from The Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, The Iowa Review, and New Michigan Press. His poems have been published in journals such as American Letters & Commentary, The Boston Review, Gulf Coast, and jubilat. He also co-edits Octopus Magazine and Octopus Books with Zachary Schomburg. This event is free and open to the public.
