World renowned violinist Jihad Akl, known widely as “The Magician Violinist,” will bring his exquisite blend of Arabic and Western classical styles to the stage at the architecturally stunning Fillmore Detroit for a Red Velvet Soirée and concert.

Akl, a Palestinian born in Lebanon, has been recognized globally for his exceptional talent, and has served as the band leader for legendary Lebanese musicians Fairuz, Wadih ElSafi and Majida Roumi (view his spellbinding ability in live performance here.) Akl will be joined by the multi-talented composer and vocalist Salah Kurdi, who has penned hits for the likes of musicians Kazem El-Saher and Elissa.

For ONE NIGHT ONLY these musical geniuses will collaborate in what promises to be a dazzling and mesmerizing performance in celebration of the accomplishments of the AANM, and metro Detroit’s Arab American community.

Tickets to this extraordinary concert are now on sale and start at just $50! All proceeds from this event will benefit AANM.
