Seraphine Collective says
Mary Ocher (RU/IL/DE)
"The queen of Berlin underground Returns!
Possibly possessed by demons, perhaps by ghosts of deceased prophets.
After completing 60 North American dates last year, followed by almost all of Europe from the UK to Russia and fresh off the mystic lands of SE Asia/OZ/NZ, Mary's finally back for more action!

Her recent album was produced by Canadian Rock&Roll guru King Khan and came out on 4 labels so far (2 in Europe, 2 in the US). Followed by a digital double anthology of home recordings from the past 10 years. Garage/Avant-Pop. Wonderfully raw and biting. Do not miss!"

Stella's Ghost (DET/Ann Arbor)
We play Rebetika which is a specific type of Greek folk music that originated in urban areas and has been described as the Greek blues. A lot of the songs we know are about heartache, drugs, and independent women. Most of the songs were written before 1940. We also play other kinds of Greek folk music from the early 20th century because we're into it.
