On July 20, a Detroit hero was in a motorcycle accident. Joseph Michnuk is our friend, our big brother, our biggest supporter. He can be found every Sunday morning maintaining the old Tiger Stadium, every afternoon having lunch at one of Detroit's hidden gems, and almost every night showing support for our local musicians or Tigers.
IT'S OUR TURN TO COME TOGETHER TO SUPPORT JOE!!!
We're gathering teams, entertainers and raffle items for Corktown's first Sloppy Joe Cook-Off. The event will take place at the Corktown Tavern, located next to Navin Field (Tiger Stadium). Our goal is to raise a nice lump of cash to help him out until he gets back on his feet.
Tickets will be $10 at the door, and will include a taste of each chef's sloppy joe, and voting rights!
