Social Studies: Detroit Launch With Ali Berger

Social Studies [Disco | House | Techno] says
In 2011, Social Studies started with a mission to bring good dance music to the basement of Boston's Good Life--a small club not unlike Detroit's Whiskey Disco. Even though Social Studies has always been committed to the classics, it also never shied away from booking fresh faces and taking some risks. The party has hosted seasoned legends like Kenny Dope and Tony Humphries, but also rising talents like Octo Octa and Justin Cudmore, and Disco evangelists like The Black Madonna or Eli Escobar.

In its 5 years in Boston, Social Studies had a strong musical connection to Detroit (Omar-S, Mike Servito, DJ Bone and Kenny Dixon Jr. among others, have been guests) and now this connection deepens with a Social Studies monthly in the Motor City. Resident Ali Berger will be joined by local guests and the occasional out-of-towner to continue the Social Studies commitment to quality music and a focused dancefloor experience. This month Ali's flying solo to set the scene. Come see what it's all about.
