About the Abstract Oracle:
Spend the day with DR. MAKEEBA ELLINGTON, the North End’s acclaimed Abstract Oracle, and you will experience the world in an unprecedented way. Dr. Ellington is an ordained minister, a spiritual counselor & auditor, a Tapology and Reiki practitioner, as well as a mom. Through her studies and doctorate in divinity, Dr. Ellington uses her abilities to tune in to people’s energy and emotions to channel spiritual energy for readings and healing. Dr. Ellington holds “Save Your Soul Sundays” at a movement-based, group meditation. She is also a published writer, knitter, painter, dancer, singer, and O.N.E. Mile Artist Fellow. Her strength and positivity are unmatched.

About Traci Ricks:
Traci Ricks is a 43-year-old writer, chef and artist who paints pictures on white backgrounds in black pigment splashed with red, silver and gold. Recently, Traci has launched the “with love, from Detroit” campaign where she sends love notes to random individuals who have inspired or moved her in some way. These notes speak to the beauty that is her hometown and encourages the recipients to in turn, write a love note to someone who has influenced them. To make it easy, she encloses a stamp. Notably, she has penned the children’s book series, Lil Brown Girl and is currently working on additional volumes.
Ms. Ricks holds a Bachelor of Science from Wayne State University and a Master of Fine Art from Full Sail University.
