FoodLab is a community of food entrepreneurs committed to making the possibility of good food in Detroit a sustainable reality. We design, build, and maintain systems to grow a diverse ecosystem of triple-bottom-line food businesses as part of a good food movement that is accountable to all Detroiters.

The FoodLab Table is a series of pop-up events, featuring collaborations by a variety of FoodLab's good food businesses. We believe that by working together we can create a good food ecosystem that is healthy, green, and just.

On Thursday, April 23rd, join us for a Caribbean-inspired collaboration featuring Crème Détroipolis and Demitart Gourmet / Norma G's.

The FoodLab Table features a 3 Course Dinner, with service beginning at 7pm.

Starter - Sweet Potato Coconut Curry Soup- A creamy sweet potato soup with a fusion of Caribbean and Thai flavors. (Vegan & Gluten-Free)

Choice of Main Entree
Melongene - Stewed egg plant combined with sweet onions and Roma tomatoes in a marinara sauce; served with Jasmine scented rice & fried plantains (Vegan)

Chicken Curry Roti - A blend of moist chicken, chick peas and gold potatoes cooked in a Trinidad style curry and served with paratha Roti, slightly spicy!

Dessert - Vernor Chocolate Dream Cake - A dense, moist chocolate cake with hints of sweet potato, cayenne and cinnamon, topped with a cool whip frosting blended with bits of dark chocolate and english toffee. (Gluten-Free)
