TJOCK is back for the third year with a Detroit Soundsystem showcase.

Alexander Schwank

Alexander born in Innsbruck Austria, where multiple genres of music filled his childhood from artists like J Dilla, Miles Davis, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, and Radiohead. He has traveled extensively developing the unique global sound that he brings to his DJ sets. Inspired by Detroit innovators past and present, such as Carl Craig, Moodymann, Norm Talley, Jason Kendig, and D Wynn, he has created a layered style of techno infused soulful house.

Ill Fusion

Either behind the scenes or on stage, DJ/Producer David Kloosterman (Ill Fusion)’s work in live sound and event production has positioned him next to the beating heart of Detroit’s House and Techno Underground. Along with appearances at Tec-troit and multiple Movement after parties last year, Ill Fusion has been sharing stages throughout Detroit with local and international DJs, starting spontaneous dance parties at art galleries, and grooving until sunup at the city’s underground hotspots. Ill Fusion’s cerebral blend of Techno, House, and Breaks is guided meditation for those of us who can’t sit still.

DJ Holographic

Holographic is a one-woman funk machine born and raised on Detroit Music. Her mission is to serve a mix of musical cuisine that contains consuming house beats, passionate R&B, and unreserved nu-disco. Join her as she concocts her next rhythmic dish.

John Joseph

John gained an infatuation with music early in childhood through his father's work as a freelance producer in the Detroit area. He made his first blippy 8-bit track in his father's studio at age 9, played drums with bands around mid-Michigan for many years and started to DJ while attending school at Michigan State University.

Rex Bravo

A true enthusiast, Rex delivers an original vinyl mix that transfers his enthusiasm for a good party onto the dance floor. With influences spanning generations of vinyl, and a respect for Detroit's musical foundation, he pulls you into a familiar rhythm of sound. Fairly new to the Detroit scene, Rex has quickly earned the respect of fellow DJs, musicians and promoters.

Since arriving in the Detroit music and party scene, Tylr has begun to leave an original and lasting mark as both a DJ and a promoter.
A transplant from Toledo, Tylr has spent the last 8 years in Detroit soaking up the unique and diverse culture of the city. With this influence and his innate talent, he mixes a far ranging set that pulls the strings of nostalgia fluidly combined with modern Detroit beats.
