Temple Bar Detroit says
Back in the summer of 2013 Peter Croce Music Page got on Craigslist to upgrade his Numark turntables to some Technics 1200s. He met up with a guy named Ryan Dahl in a Tim Horton's parking lot to pick one up, and they quickly realized they had quite a bit in common. A few months later they kicked off the first †Sermon† at Temple Bar Detroit. It was such a success thanks to their super awesome friends that it became a monthly.

Last year's 1 year anniversary was a helluva party so we're doing it again with the one and only Roque Ybarra. Jack your body.

From Detroit to Chicago and Kingston to London, dance music was born out of celebration of diversity, struggle, equality, and unity. † Sermon † is "the music of our hearts, which is roots music-- music which recalls history because without without the knowledge of history you cannot determine your destiny. Music about the present because if you’re not conscious of the present you’re like a cabbage in this society."

Come out for a party that touches your mind, body, and soul-- and bring your dancing shoes.
