What The Sound Presents: Fluffer, White Bee, Lady Bones, And The Landmarks says
Join What The Sound for our first show in Michigan, outside of Ann Arbor! This bill features 2 local bands and 2 touring ones. Come out, listen to hidden talent and dance your way through the night! Tix will be $5/person and available at the door. The bands are:

Fluffer (Cincinnati) - Fluffer is a heavy dance-rock trio that is evolving into increasingly uncharted territory. Formed five winters ago in Bloomington, IN, they quickly made a name for themselves by combining blinding psychedelic flavors with a propulsive and kinetic rhythm section. If you're a fan of Battles, Deerhoof, Discovery, and Tame Impala then we definitely recommend coming out to the show. See what their live show is like here: http://bit.ly/1qdBlsX

White Bee (Detroit) - a neo-soul act. If you're a fan of Hiatus Kaiyote, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Prince, Melody's Echo Chamber, and any and all good music then you should absolutely come out! Hear their most recent EP here: https://whitebee.bandcamp.com/releases

Lady Bones (Boston) - All the way from Boston!!! This ugly pop trio have their upcoming EP coming out via Midnight Werewolf Records on April 29th! The band "is still writing riffs that rumble slowly toward a thesis, but more than ever the band is putting pop conventions first. Vocalist-guitarist Sean Gilston makes use of a vocal melody that’s familiar without feeling trite, as the rest of the band chugs through riffs that are heavy yet hummable." - The A.V. Club. The Landmarks (Ann Arbor) - an indie pop psych-rock group. Comprised of sweet soulful melodies, soaring synths, colorful bass lines, driving rhythm, and screaming guitar tones, occasionally accompanied and reigned via soothing string arrangements. With sounds reminiscent to Two Door Cinema Club, The Strokes, and Phoenix, make sure to catch these guys as they'll hit the stage at 9:30pm!
