Time Out says

Based on Ted Lewis' 1969 novel 'Jack's Return Home' and best known in its stylish 1971 film version starring Michael Caine, gritty Newcastle noir gangster drama 'Get Carter' comes to the Citz stage. Jack Carter's back up north for the first time in years in search of his brother's killer and to pay debts and settle scores. Assuming nobody gets him first.
