Ottoman Bank Museum

The Ottoman Bank was founded in 1856 and operated as the state bank of the Ottoman Empire from 1863 to 1924. In 2001, it was incorporated into Garanti Bank, which founded this museum to commemorate the remarkable institution and narrate its history. The objects and documents displayed offer a fascinating glimpse into the world of the late-Ottoman and early-Republican periods of Turkish history.
