Academy of St Martin in the Fields & Murray Perahia

American concert pianist and conductor Murray Perahia has worked with the greatest musicians of the 20^th century, from Pablo Casals to Vladimir Horowitz – not to mention his highly acclaimed Beethoven performances and recordings. Perahia joins the Academy of Saint Martin in the Fields two nights in a row in the mystical and historic atmosphere of the Hagia Irene to perform works by Mendelssohn, Mozart and Schumann on the first day and those by Beethoven, Britten and Schubert on the second.
