5 things you don’t know about Justin Timberlake
1) Suffers from OCD and ADHD
Justin Timberlake revealed his diagnosis with OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) and ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and the difficult he faced throughout his life because of these disorders in 2008. Even though he doesn’t talk about it much, these disorders have made him obsessive over certain issues like placing his things properly, or what food he has in his fridge. He also says that his live performances are kind of an addiction as well.
2) He is a golf enthusiast
So much so that him and his wife Jessica Biel were the executive producers of a golf-oriented short film titled ‘The Short Game’. This documentary, which won the 2013 South by Southwest Film Festival Audience Award, is about a group of 7-year-old golf-prodigy children and their efforts to become world champions.
3) ‘Runner Runner’ frustration about…
Timberlake’s memory of 2013 is filled with moments of frustration, which probably has to do with the film he did with Ben Affleck titled ‘Runner Runner. The film that received no positive reviews also bombed at the box office; in fact Variety published an article titled ‘Why Justin Timberlake Should Stop Acting’. Thankfully he did very well in the Coen brothers’ ‘Inside Llewyn Davis’ and erased the memory of his previously unsuccessful role.
4) The miracle of the Mickey Mouse Club
Everyone knows that Justin Timberlake’s cast mates on The Mickey Mouse Club in the early 90s were Britney Spears, Ryan Gosling and Christina Aguilera. You’ve probably seen pictures of the four of them on Tumblr. What you probably don’t know is that when they were on the star-making machine The Mickey Mouse Club, Ryan Gosling and Justin Timberlake were roommates. When Gosling’s mother had to go back to Canada for work Justin Timberlake’s mother became Gosling’s legal guardian for 6 months.
Did you know that after going to elementary school in Memphis Justin Timberlake dropped out and was homeschooled? Timberlake probably did this because of his career as he started working on The Mickey Mouse Club when he was 10 years old and then continued his career with N’Sync.
