Kemancı

After undergoing an evolution of sorts, it’s now reopened its doors with a brand new crew. Kemancı is now an ‘independent art space’ that hosts not only Turkish and foreign music but also monthly exhibitions. The concert area can hold up to 300 people, with an outdoor area that welcomes 400. Following its makeover, we could say that Kemancı is the Istanbul version of Europe’s popular art bars; it’s open for business not only at night but also for snacks, coffee and afternoon cocktails.
