Here you’ll find soups with a low carbon footprint, as they’re prepped with all-natural and local ingredients – one of our favorites being the minestrone soup featuring celery from the Kurtdoğmuş Village in Pendik and white beans from Çayeli. The soups come in two sizes, priced at 6 TL and 9 TL. For those who haven’t yet been to Ek Biç Ye İç, we’d also like to point out that this is no ordinary restaurant: the space doubles as a setting for workshops on urban agriculture methods, and some of the greens used in their recipes are also grown in-house. The eco-friendly Ek Biç Ye İç also opened its second location in Akatlar a few months ago.

Ek Biç Ye İç
Come wintertime, whenever we find ourselves growing hungry in the vicinity of Taksim, our feet lead us straight to Ek Biç Ye İç.
