Mm&g’s Burger

Until recently, Mm&g’s Burger was an urban legend of sorts for me: I had tried it once in Ataşehir and thought it was one of the best burgers I’d had in Istanbul, but the restaurant had vanished before I could go back. When I learned that it recently resurfaced in Suadiye, I had one question on my mind: are the burgers still as good as before? Well, they’re even better. The sourdough breads made with chickpea starter are flavorful enough to satisfy those who enjoy their buns buttery soft yet sturdy enough to envelop the hefty patties without falling apart. In addition to the 160-g patties for its burgers, Mm&g’s also produces its own pepper jack cheese and smoked beef bacon. The restaurant proudly calls its hot dogs “handmade,” and they’re just as delicious as anything else to come out of the kitchen.
