Time Out says

Şayan, quite popular for its tuzlama soup, is a favorite spot among night owls. Even though Istanbul’s nightlife venues have constantly been changing over the years this last stop that partiers visit before calling it a night, hasn’t changed. With even the most elegant and popular restaurants only lasting 1-2 years, Istanbul’s socialites have continued their love affair with Şayan’s food for years. Your chances of seeing an artist, football player, or socialite greatly increase between 2 am and 5 am. Whenever you go you’re likely to see a few familiar faces. A big reason for this is Şayan’s food. Each item on the menu, prepared by chef Hüseyin Özen, is more delicious than that next, from the lentil soup to the tomato soup, tripe soup, calves-foot soup, yogurt kebab, and other grilled meats. The prices are a little high for a place like this, but the regulars are used to paying much more so it doesn’t bother them. Enjoy a discount on the food between 12 pm and 3 pm everyday.
