The latest hub for Topağacı residents to socialize.
Son is the brainchild of three friends who wanted to open an eatery in their own neighborhood. With little seating inside, the owners have opted to make the most of the stairs out front, giving Son the feel of a campus cafeteria (albeit a chic one). Topağacı residents and pets alike seem to have embraced Son, which functions as a meeting point for those in the ’hood on weekends. The menu, overseen by N.O.D.E. Istanbul chefs Noyan Coşkuner and Denizhan Dağdelen, is comprised of light and simple breakfast dishes, pastas, salads and sandwiches. Breakfast is Son’s strong suit, with some of the must-try options being the egg-fried bread with Erzincan tulum cheese, scrambled eggs and mushrooms on sourdough bread, and the Nutella French toast.
