Venta del Toro

Winner of the 2003 Time Out Istanbul-Miller Eating & Drinking Award for ‘best ethnic restaurant’, Venta del Toro is one of the best known Spanish restaurants in Turkey. Upon entering you’re likely to be struck by the venue’s slight Gaudi-like ambiance, and you’ll find that thes mosaic, with their obviously painstaking construction, are simply enchanting. The entry level, used both as a bar and a café, is ideal for snacking on tapas morning or night, or just drinkingwithout a meal. In the restaurant upstairs, on the other hand, it’s possible to have tapas or a full meal. From October to June, live music can be heard. They have an extensive menu for both food and drinks, but you must try the seafood paella. With your meal you can enjoy a nice wine or sangria. They even have a terrace which is utilised during summer.
