Guide for Joburgers attending Doja Cat's Pretoria show

If you will be travelling from Johannesburg to attend the Move Afrika ft Doja Cat's show, here is what you need to know.

The countdown is on! This Friday, 20 March, thousands of music lovers will gather at the SunBet Arena at Time Square in Pretoria for the highly anticipated Global Citizen Move Afrika show.

Grammy Award-winning superstar Doja Cat will be taking centre stage, performing some of her biggest global hits in what promises to be an unforgettable night in South Africa. 

Getting there from Johannesburg 

If you’re travelling from Johannesburg, it is advisable to use the official Park & Ride option. Buses depart from 3pm on Friday and tickets are R285 (available via Ticketmaster).

    • Gold Reef City
    • Montecasino
    • Sandton City
    • Melrose Arch

Why use Park & Ride? 

  • Using the official park and ride services will help you avoid heavy traffic into Pretoria. 
  • You also won't need to worry about finding parking or car safety. 
  • Another benefit is that it is safer and more convenient, especially after a late-night show. 

With thousands expected to attend, roads around Pretoria are likely to be congested even without official closures announced.
