South Africa is now more accessible than ever for travellers from Hong Kong and beyond, thanks to Cathay Pacific’s new daily flight service to Johannesburg.
The airline has increased its frequency from five to seven flights per week to OR Tambo International Airport, making it easier for tourists, business travellers, and diaspora communities to explore the vibrant culture, rich heritage, and natural beauty of South Africa
“The increase in flights between Johannesburg and Hong Kong reflects our commitment to meeting the growing demand for travel between South Africa and Asia,” Cathay Pacific Regional GM: South Asia, Middle East and Africa Rakesh Raicar, reportedly told Engineering News.
“With the expanded schedule, we are offering our customers greater flexibility and convenience, whether they are travelling for business or leisure,” Raicar added.
The Cathay Pacific Regional GM says the move will offer more convenience for consumers.
“Hong Kong remains a vibrant hub for global connectivity, providing seamless onward connections to key destinations across the world,” he told the publication.
“We look forward to welcoming more customers on board and delivering the exceptional service that Cathay Pacific is known for,” he added.
