‘Chinook’, Fiona Banner’s new highly praised installation of rotating twin Chinook helicopter blades, is displayed here along with several of her other related works. Title piece ‘Wp Wp Wp’ – the noise made by the Chinook’s terrifying, whirring rotor system – covers an entire wall, while ‘Mirror’ is a film of actress Samantha Morton reading out Banner’s written nude portrait of her, a piece both enthralling and unsettling in equal measure – just like standing beneath the giant spinning blades.
