A show forming part of the project marking 30 years since the miners' strike

This audio-visual eulogy to the coal industry is sung by Opera North’s chorus and children’s chorus, and features powerful imagery projected inside St Bartholomew’s Chapel. In collaboration with the National Coal Mining Museum, ‘Song for Coal’ is part of a year-long series of projects to mark 30 years since the miners’ strike.
