Excitingly, those lively, never-tired CBeebies presenters in your TV set – or as some of us parents call them, child care – are coming to Leeds for a special Dancing Beebies event on Saturday 28 March.

After a special screening of CBeebies' Elves and the Shoemaker at Everyman Cinema at Trinity Leeds – a collaboration between CBeebies and Northern Ballet that hits screens over Easter – the Leeds-based ballet company, along with other local dance groups, will be performing throughout the day and running workshops for young children to join in.

Kids will join a host of CBeebies faces for Dancing Beebies, a day of dance and creative activities inspired by their production of Elves and the Shoemaker and the BBC’s Year of Song and Dance 2015. Sessions include themed craft activities and story telling, too.

It's all free, so just drop-in on the day from 10am.
