If you're looking for something out of the ordinary when it comes to celebrating the festive season, there may still be time to party likes it's 1933 with Leeds Loves Cocktails.

On December 5 at a secret venue, the one off speakeasy party is themed around 'Repeal Day' – the day that prohibition was lifted in the US.

As such, guests are required to adhere to a 1920s dress code: think Gatsby, gangster or 'blue-tie' for the fellas, meaning sharp suits, bowties, waistcoats and braces, with jewelled dresses or flapper girl fashion for the ladies.

For the evening, Leeds Loves Cocktails is teaming up with official sponsor Old Forester American Whisky, with backing from Absolut Elyx Vodka, el Jimador Tequila, Portobello Road Gin and Santa Teresa Rum.

The result will be cocktails with a prohibition theme, priced £4.50 throughout the night, with music and entertainment, too.

Tickets are limited, so you may have to get in quick if you want to join in.

Leeds Loves Xmas Cocktails. December 5, 7pm-midnight. Secret location. Tickets cost £15, which includes cocktails and canapés. Buy tickets here
