Offering eating, cocktails, gaming and plenty of pool, new bar Slate NQ on Merrion Street opens its doors today.
Taking over the site that was the Lounge Bar and Grill for the best part of 15 years, the building has been fully refurbished by Jones Bar Group – whose portfolio also includes Hirst's Yard, LAB, Brooklyn and the Roxy Ball Room – in an impressively short amount of time.
Along with seven pool tables and a rotation of local ales (from the likes of Roosters, Magic Rock Brewery, Leeds Brewery and more), there is also plenty of outside space available – ideal for when the summer gets into full swing.
Food-wise, you'll likely find a fare similar to that of other Jones Bar venues, which means a menu of pizzas, meats and cheeses, and sharing plates.
