Locally sourced ingredients are nothing new but at Kith & Kin, which has just replaced the space vacated by the Zed Bar in Chapel Allerton, they’ve taken things a step farther.
Local allotment holders and “windowsill growers’ have teamed up with the restaurant – open for breakfast, lunch and dinner – to offer their super fresh produce, in return for which they get food and drink on the house.
They also whip up a mean cocktail.
