John Cooper Clarke first came to prominence in the punk rock era of the late '70s, celebrated for his signature Salford drawl and punk-infused pearls of wisdom.
And to show that his work is as significant now as it ever was, he'll be embarking on a UK tour in 2016, stopping off in Leeds with a gig at the City Varieties Music Hall.
