A treasure trove of over 160 stunning artefacts from the British Museum is brought to Leeds to explore the Roman Empire’s immense wealth and power. This touring exhibition will also demonstrate how the Romans viewed their provinces and other peoples.

Highlights include sculpture from the villas of the Emperors Tiberius and Hadrian, and coins from the famous Hoxne Hoard. Personal objects and jewellery provide insight into the lives of the Roman people and how outside cultures influenced the Empire. This is a rare opportunity to see such incredible pieces outside of London and should not be missed.
