Talking Pictures

Learn from the experts as Mary Cooper, who has written for stage, screen and radio, takes a closer look into the figures of George Morland's paintings, before bringing them to life through the medium of audio drama.

Part 1 of the workshop takes place at the end of April, and will begin the process of developing a character, experimenting with dialogue, writing a scene and making a recording. Part 2, taking place in May, sees Mary joined by actor, director and voice coach, Olwen May, to explore the dialogue produced the previous week.

It's not only a unique chance to bring painted characters to life with dialogue, animating scenes that are aching to have a voice, but also to pick up some interesting new skills along the way.
