O Amansar da Fera

Directed by Cucha Carvalheiro, William Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew is a serious reflection – in a comedic tone – on the status of women in society, bringing together regular actors from the Teatro Experimental de Cascais and several generations of graduates from the Escola Profissional de Teatro de Cascais. Running until 14 December at the Teatro Mirita Casimiro, there will be performances from Wednesday to Saturday at 9 pm and on Sundays at 4 pm. Tickets, on sale at the venue and online, cost €15. The premiere takes place on 13 November, the date on which the company celebrates its 60th anniversary.
