Field Day unofficially kicks off festival season in London and you and a friend could be there to signal in the summer, as we're giving away five pairs of weekend tickets to the east London knees-up.
Entering its ninth year, the festival will be returning to its home in Victoria Park on Saturday June 6 & 7, with its unique formula of a pioneering music line-up coupled with village fete mentality, all in the heart of east London. This year's stellar line-up includes Caribou and newly reformed, seminal band Ride, who will be headlining the Saturday and Sunday respectively. They will be playing Field Day alongside the likes of Patti Smith (performing her groundbreaking album 'Horses' in full), FKA Twigs, Mac DeMarco, Todd Terje & The Olsens, Django Django, Run The Jewels and Savages. Street Feast and Venn Street Market will be providing the most delicious foods, while Londons Brewers' Market will be drafting London’s finest lager from the city’s best independent breweries.
Other incredible names on the bill this year include Andrew Weatherall b2b Daniel Avery, Bok Bok, Clark, Chet Faker, Errors, Floating Points, Fryars, Future Brown, Gaz Coombes, Ghost Culture, Hackney Colliery Band, Hookworms, Hudson Mohawke, Jack Garratt, Jagaara, John Talabot, Kindness, LA Priest, Madlib, Max Tundra, Nina Kraviz, Outfit, Owen Pallett, Philip Selway, Rae Morris, Shura, Spector, Tei Shi, Tom Ravenscroft, Tune Yards and many more.
